Born in san diego and raised in Tijuana, with a bicultural tendency, Aida emerges as a mighty, innovating visual artist.

The sculptures are characterized by her use of intense colors, reflecting   her mexican roots, that she interprets in a contemporary form.


Her art trespasses the border, a typical sculpture transforms itself from a simple drawing to a life size piece of work full of color and movement.


Materials such as cooper, iron, glass, marble semiprecious stones, as well as recycle materials are her palette and main tool.

Recently she won first place for her 3D sculpture called “Imagination & Magic”, piece selected for the society of american mosaic artist, in the museum of man in San Diego city, “Contemporary Mosaic Exhibition “...


Now she has been selected for de 2nd District Exhibition in Long Beach California, with her 3d work “Cuidame” and “El Canto a la Naturaleza” (take care of me and the chant of nature). Where again she won first place for “Cuidame”
